Results: Study showed that of the 6 (six) participants, all need attention to the overload of mourning; however, three (3) of the participants had indicators that indicate the need for care indicating a little more intense presence. Considerations: It is necessary to provide a psychological follow-up for nurses working in the ICUs and for nursing undergraduate colleges to invest in curricular grades that allow the preparation of the academic to live within the hospital environment, thus allowing for discussions on the theme of death and dying of patients.
